The Ford Galaxie is a full-sized automobile sold by Ford from 1959 to 1974. Designed by Joe Oros, the second generation Galaxie was introduced in 1960. The 1963 Galaxie would largely be unchanged from 1962 although the car was given a number of visual upgrades and added trim, as well as a lower fastback roofline to improve the car's look.
