The Batboat is Batman's personalized watercraft. It features a number of weapons and is used in situations when Batman needs to traverse over water. The vehicle as shown in the 1966 movie was designed by Mel Whitley and Robert Hammond from a Glastron V-174. Modifications include a red beacon, flashing lights, bazooka hatches and numerous other modifications such as a water squirter and jet nozzle to make it appear like it was nuclear-powered; the prop took 31 days to build.
