The Audi Sport Quattro S1 is a rally car manufactured by Audi for use in Group B competition. Designed by Jörg Bensinger and Harmut Warkuß, the S1 was developed in 1984 to homologate the car for use in the World Rally Championship, with a small number of roadgoing versions sold to homologate the car. It is powered by an all-aluminum 2.1L R5 turbocharged inline-5 mated to a 6-speed manual and featured a bodyshell manufactured of carbon kevlar with a steeper windshield rake than usual.
