The '51 Le Sabre Concept is based upon the real Le Sabre concept car, designed by Harley J. Earl and built by GM in 1951. It was featured in car shows around the world and sports the "jet airplane" look that was so prevalent in the 1950's. The car was powered by a 215 c.i. V-8 engine (≈ 3.5 L) with a Buick Dynaflow automatic transmission.
