The Chrysler Turbine Car is an experimental two-door turbine-powered coupe produced by the Chrysler Corporation from 1963 to 1964. Styled by Chrysler design chief Elwood Engel, the car was powered by an Chrysler A831 turbine engine, mated to a 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic. Assembly of the car was mostly done in Turin, Italy by Carrozzeria Ghia; final assembly was completed in Detroit by Chrysler.
