Mad Flatter is a contemporary design of flatcar. It is packaged with a number of removable pipes; the rack holding the pipes can also be removed, allowing the car to act like an autorack. Cargo is secured using rubber bands. The name of this model is a play on "mad hatter". The Mad Flatter has come out in the following 1/64 scale versions:
